Loofah Sponge

Luffa. Loofa. Loofah. Whatever you want to call it - it's one of my favorite things to grow from seed. 🌱 Not only do the beautiful flowers bring pollinators, 🐝 the younger luffas can be eaten like zuchinni. 🥒 Additionally, they turn incredibly fiberous as they get bigger and are used all over the world as kitchen/hand/body sponges & scrubbers 🧽...and in some countries as home insulation!! 🏠 I've particularly enjoyed how super soft they are on on my sensitive skin. 🛀Pesticide-free. Sustainable & ecosystem friendly. 💯Each should be dried out between uses and replaced monthly.
